Training Services

Soft-Train offers a wide array of no-charge services that are included with the cost of training. As a result, we are able to provide our customers with a complete turnkey training solution at an economical rate. Our recommended training solutions will be defined within strategic management meetings. We will also base our recommendations on training surveys that we will implement at our client's locations. The following sections will outline and provide a description of these services.

Award Winning Courseware & Handouts

Soft-Train will provide courseware and handouts for each student.  Our team has won several awards relating to the format and content of these materials.  The student will be able to walk themselves through the actual class utilizing this valued tool.

Telephone Support

Once a student attends a course with Soft-Train, they can call for free telephone support for "end user" related questions corresponding to any of the Microsoft Office products for an entire year!!!  This service is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week.  Most training companies will limit this service to the product that corresponds to the course and during normal business hours.  In addition, help desk companies would normally charge between $25,000 to $35,000 per year for this exact same service, which Soft-Train offers for free.

Certificate of Completion

Upon request, each student will receive an attractive Soft-Train certificate of completion for attending a computer course.  This can be used as tool to increase morale within any organization.

Training Surveys

We have found that most companies have a challenging time defining the exact training needs of their organization.  In fact, it has become apparent that our clients have dramatically over estimated their training budgets.  The monies could have been better invested in other verticals to help better streamline their operations.  Our technical training team will come to your facility and conduct a training survey to help assess your exact training needs.  Once the survey is completed, we will then provide an attractive report.  This tool enables management to make executive decisions, which specifically correlate to the needs of the employee base.  

Dedicated Registration Administrator

Soft-Train will dedicate one of our registration administrators to each client.  This individual will be responsible for assessing the student's skill sets, scheduling classes and providing them with answers to day-to-day questions relating to training. 

Student Assessment Tools

Soft-Train has developed a student assessment tool that can help evaluate the skill sets of specific software applications.  Our student assessment tool has enabled Soft-Train to place students within the appropriate classes.  As a result, each of the students that attend our seminars are able to receive the maximum benefits from Soft-Train's seasoned instructors. 

Internet Access to Course Outlines

Soft-Train's course outlines are currently published on our web site. Students can simply log on to our web site and select the class of their choice and the associated course outline will be displayed.  This becomes especially important when students are interested in evaluating the courses during off hours. 

Unlimited Free Retakes

A student can retake any class at Soft-Train's location for an indefinite period of time, as long as the client is still utilizing Soft-Train, as their dedicated training vendor.  Most training companies will limit this service for 3 to 6 months after the class has been completed.

Online Registration for Public Classes

Students can access our website and register for classes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once the students actually registers for a class, one of our registration specialists will contact each student and confirm their enrollments.

Continuing Education Units

Each student will receive continuing education units for each course that they attend.  The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) was created by IACET as a measurement of continuing education. One (1) CEU is equal to ten (10) contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction. The CEU has evolved from a quantitative measure to a hallmark of quality training and instruction.
